The journey to a healthier happier life begins with taking HBCC's parenting course!
The parenting course takes you on a 6-week journey where each week builds on the previous week. Your journey to confidently understanding and parenting your child begins through an introduction to looking at challenging behaviors through a new lens.
Collaborative Problem Solving® (CPS) is a revolutionary, evidence-based approach for helping children develop the skills they need to manage their behavior. This class teaches parents and caregivers how to reduce challenging behaviors by using the CPS approach with their child.
This parent/caregiver class is for those not familiar with Collaborative Problem Solving or for those who have taken a previous class and want a refresher are welcome.
Class materials and opportunities for questions and answers will be a part of this highly interactive parent class experience.

Course Details
Attendance is highly encouraged for each session as the learning builds upon the previous session's content. Arrangements can be made to make-up a session in subsequent sessions if needed, although maximum confidence is acquired by committing to attending the full series of sessions.
Participation Fee:
$250 per person
$400 for two people(*)
(*)Must be discussing the same child
Repeat Attendees:
$110 per person
$200 for two people
Scholarships & Tuition Assistance:
We invite all individuals to participate in our parenting classes. HBCC works to connect participants of those who identify as Black, Latinx/Hispanic, Asian, persons of color, LGBTQA+, persons with a physical and/or neurological disability, veterans, etc., to local community support groups here in Orange County for sustainability in the implementation of Collaborative Problem Solving.
